1st Line/Junior IT Support Analyst - Remote Work- R15,000 to R18,000 per month + contribution to R1,000 internet and reasonable expenses
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with 1st Line Support experience to join a business giving you exposure to supporting businesses abroad in particular New York. Working for a new young service delivery business, you will be working as an outsourced Engineer to a Managed Service Provider in a Support Desk servicing IT requests and managing and resolving calls. You will work directly with end-users at all levels, also with other Support Desk team members plus internal and external IT providers. Why you? You will have experience in troubleshooting, supporting, and managing infrastructure. Knowledge of hardware and software Microsoft 365 experience Strong customer service ethos. ConnectWise will be a bonus but not essential. Key Responsibilities include logging and processing support calls, installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners, setting up staff accounts, ensuring that they know how to log in, solving password problems, responding to breakdowns, investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults, repairing equipment and replacing parts. The role will be completely remote so you will be working from home. You will be provided with a laptop and a contribution to your internet and other reasonable expenses. You will also have the opportunity to receive further training and grow with a fast-growing, young new business.
Your working hours will be US East coast hours (15:00 to 00:00 SA time).
