Job & Company Description:
My client has been in operations for 100 years and are expanding their team with a buyer to focus on a short-term project reporting into the Procurement Manager.
The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the purchasing function of various business units through the placement of purchase orders, following up with vendors, ensuring goods are procured at the right time in the right quantity and general procurement administration.
Job experience and skills required:

National Diploma / Degree within Procurement
5+ years of procurement experience within a manufacturing environment
Previous exposure in purchasing raw materials, packaging, equipment, machinery, professional services, spares, tools etc
