2nd Line Support Analyst required to join a well known private sector company based in Fife on a 6 month initial contract, offering a rate of £170-£190 a day and has been determined to be inside IR35.
This contract will see you take on a mixture of both BAU and project work as you join the company during a very busy period. Your main responsibility will be to manage any escalated end users requests from within the company and be on hand to support the overall network infrastructure. On top of this you will be expected to help the team on any projects such as hardware rollouts and infrastructure improvement projects.
For this role you must come from a strong IT support background and have proven experience working as a 2nd Line Support Analyst on a variety of IT hardware and business applications. You will be able to demonstrate knowledge on a number of client Microsoft applications and be able to utilise tools such as Active Directory to configurate and maintain a Windows Server Environment. You must also have solid communication skills and be comfortable being the main POC for several users throughout the company and using your technical expertise to help support and mentor 1st Line Support staff.
Key Skills and Experiences:
** Solid IT Support background
** Experience configurating, maintaining and troubleshooting IT hardware such as Laptops, Mobiles, Routers and Switches
** Experience working with Active Directory and Windows Server
** Experience working with Cisco hardware
** Mange end user requests and act as main point of escalation
