JOB DESCRIPTION:

ACCOUNTANT & COMPLIANCE OFFICER FLORIDA – R550 000 TCTC P/A

BCompt (Hons) with Articles / CA (SA) with 3 years+ post articles experience in the Commercial & Manufacturing environment. Understanding of IFRS, Experience in ERP, IT, Business & Reporting Tools is essential – Hyperion, MS Dynamics, etc. Strong analytical & conceptual skills & ability to drive improved performance in the finance team. Exp in preparation & drafting of annual tax calculations & financial statements. Review & posting of monthly intercompany transactions & balances, perform monthly reporting process on HFM of dormant entities of the group, review monthly recons between local ERP and HFM, Review monthly balance sheet recons against Group Acctg Manual & supporting documents. Supervision of the Group’s Sub-Sahara African legal entities fiscal close & all statutory requirements. Monitoring submissions of tax returns & providing support for any Revenue Authority audits that may arise. Ensure year-end close has been performed after sign-off of annual statutory audits.
