Job Description

Our client in the fluid hydraulics industry seeks a Legal Advisor/Qualified Attorney to join their small in-house legal team. The candidate will report directly to a senior legal advisor and will handle a wide range of mostly company secretarial, Compliance, research, drafting, commercial litigation duties of a corporate/commercial nature. The company does not outsource their legal work to external attorneys so all matters are handled internally. The firm has dealings with African based countries so some SADC exposure will prove an advantage. Proven track record either within practice (Corporate/Commercial) or in house legal advisory capacity required.

Qualifications

LLB Degree. Admitted Attorney

Skills

2-3 years post articles experience within practice (Corporate/commercial law) or in house legal council/compliance roles. Self Starter. Able to work independently. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong drafting, research, administration skills. Ability to multi-task.  Candidate should ideally reside in the East rand. Own transport.
