SUMMARY: Executive Chef/Head Chef/Sous Chef
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our client runs the catering at two country club locations in the greater Johannesburg area - locations are in the West Rand and Midrand.
Our client seeks a strong Executive Chef/Head Chef/Executive Sous Chef to oversee the full Catering/Function and Restaurant Service Outlets within a Country Club located in Midrand and West Rand. All senior level chefs will be considered as other senior level chefs are on site and all report to the Owners. Previous experience within a similar roles essential. Will be responsible for coordinating chefs within the outlets to ensure fine quality cuisine is prepared and served, stock control is maintained and managed, orders are completed, costs are kept in check, hygiene and safety standards and leadership and training of staff is managed. Strong Culinary skills required. Hands on.
Formal Professional Cookery Diploma preferred.
Strong Kitchen Administration and Coordination skills. Strong Food and Beverage Knowledge (FOH and BOH). Creative and able to produce fine quality cuisine.
