SUMMARY: Production Chef (Corporate/Industrial Catering Contract)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
A large corporate/industrial catering contract located in the East Rand of Johannesburg.
A corporate and industrial catering company seeks a strong Production Sous Chef for one of their larger corporate/industrial units located in the East Rand. This person will report to the Project/Site Manager and will be responsible for managing the production of all meals for the Warehouse contract. Assist the PM in Kitchen Administration. Leading the team and managing Hygiene, costs, wastage and budgets and ensure all meals are sent out per requirements and all stock is in place for same. Main focus for this role will be managing the production and meal preparation and service. Strong Food Focus and Strong Kitchen Admin Focus. Canteen style operation. 200-400 meals per day.
Formal Culinary/Professional Cookery qualification is a strong advantage.
Must be skilled and experienced in Corporate/Industrial Catering.
Negotiable.
