JOB DESCRIPTION:
A busy 200 roomed Hotel, Restaurant and Conference Centre located in Pretoria.
Our client seeks a Restaurant Manager essentially who will together with the Head Chef oversee all Food and Beverage Operations within the Hotel. The Head Chef oversees all Kitchen Stocks/Controls/Service and Budgets and Costings. Client requires that this person controls the Stock Control/Service and Budgets and Costings on the Beverage and Service side. The Hotel caters mainly for Government business and caters mainly buffet service in the Restaurant (400 breakfast, 200 lunch and 300 dinner). There are also separate banqueting/conference facilities for up to 200 delegates. Proven track record. Strong Operationally and Administratively.
Matric. Formal Hospitality/F&B Qualification will prove an advantage.
Strong with Cost/Stock Control (Proven track record). Good Service Management skills. Strong Bar Management ability.
