SUMMARY: Senior Chef
JOB DESCRIPTION:
A beautiful Country Hotel located near Outdshoorn in the Western Cape.
Our client seeks a Senior Chef to oversee 3 cooks/assistants. Preparation of meals for Lunch and Dinner Service as well as tour groups. The assistant cooks tend to breakfast. Previous experience within a Chef de Partie/Sous Chef role required. Able to come up with some good menus to offer the guests. Training of Junior Staff. Hands on preparation of meals. Assist with stock orders and control. Will report to Lodge Manager and Owner. A lovely opportunity at a beautiful property near Outdshoorn in the Western Cape.
Culinary Qualification preferred but not essential if well experienced and competent.
Candidate must be able to speak Afrikaans fluently as the rest of the staff all speak Afrikaans. Good plating skills. Able to create and produce lovely food. Good Presentation skills. Good team player.
