Job Description
Our client seeks either a strong General Manager or Assistant Lodge Manager to work closely with them, the Resident Owners, in the daily operations of the lodge. The Owners are open to either a General Manager with more experience who will take care of all areas of the lodge operations, to include HR, Payroll, Client engagement or an Assistant Manager where the Owners will still manage the HR and Payroll and Financials but the Assistant Manager will handle all Operational areas of the lodge. A couple will also be considered if the partner is either a qualified Guide/ideally with Trails and Skippers License or a Maintenance Handy Man or a Spa Therapist. Previous experience within similar roles within an upmarket 4/5* Game Lodge environment required.
Qualifications
Relevant Qualifications in Hospitality Management for the management roles. If one of the partners has either maintenance related qualifications, Trails Guide qualifications or Spa therapist qualifications.
Skills
Punctual, Reliable, Honest, Hardworking, Great Guest Hosting and engagement ability. Versatile operational management skills and experience. If one of the couple have strong maintenance skills or is a qualified spa therapist who is adaptable in other areas or if a qualified trails guide, a couple will be considered. Strong leadership skills. Stable. Proven track record within a similar styled lodge that caters largely to international clientele.
