SUMMARY:
RUSTENBURG
This position exists to ensure that air-conditioning and auto electrical systems are maintained and repaired to acceptable standards in order to ensure Equipment availability.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

QUALIFICATIONS
Matric/Std 10/Grade 12

Air-conditioning mechanician from accredited institution
Auto electrical trade qualification would be advantageous

EXPERIENCE

Mining/construction/transport/Workshop environment
Mobile equipment Air-conditioning systems 3 years minimum LDV equipment Air-conditioning systems 3 years minimum Domestic equipment Air-conditioning systems 3 years
Basic Auto electrical systems – 2 years minimum

SKILLS, QUALITIES AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

Knowledge of air-conditioning systems to enable fault finding, spares identification and repairs
Basic understanding of planned maintenance documentation and procedures (PM System would be advantageous)
Knowledge of auto electrical systems to be able to perform fault finding and repairs – 6Vdc – 24Vdc systems
Good verbal communicator
Work under pressure and prioritize tasks
Must be willing to travel for work
