My client in the agricultural industry, located 25 km outside Worcester requires the services of a dedicated and motivated Accountant to assist the Financial Manager.

The job incumbents’ main responsibility will be to record and maintain all financial transactions.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Processing bank transactions, debtors, and creditors
• Processing of creditors’ bills and reconciliation with creditors’ statements
• Raising of debtors’ invoices and allocation of payments to debtors’ accounts
• Allocation of bank transactions to ledger accounts and reconciling bank balance
• Allocation of VAT on transactions and preparation of VAT reports
• Completion of VAT201 on SARS e-Filing
• Processing of monthly payroll and other journals
• Monthly processing of salaries and EMP201 calculations
• Completion of EMP201 return on SARS e-Filing;
• Processing of semi-annual and annual EMP501 reconciliations
• Preparation of monthly management reports
• Preparation of supporting documents for SARS audits
• Various ad hoc tasks as requested by management

• Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Accounting

• At least 3 years’ experience in an accounting position 

• Own transport
