ASSISTANT SILO BAG DEPOT MANAGER (Kestell)

Our client is looking for Assitant Silo Bag Depot Manager to be based at Kestell, Free State.

The Assistant Depot Manager’s main function is to help the Manager with co-ordination of activities and maintenance of the Depot.

Afrikaans/English (Bilingual)

Essential criteria for consideration

• Must live within the Heilbron/Kestell area within the Free State OR willing to relocate
• Grain Grading certified
• Health & Safety certified

Role & Responsibility

1. Assist Manager of Depot
2. Assist with Staff management when required
3. Overall responsibility for Quantity and Quality of stock
4. Responsible for stock management
5. Preparation of soil and placement of bags
6. Assist with Site and equipment maintenance
7. Responsible for petty cash and consumables purchases
8. Responsible for maintaining PPECB records
9. Daily site inspections
10. Ensure that bags are measured
11. Ensure that rodent and weed control are in place
12. Daily reporting to Head Office on all site operations
13. Weekly depot report
14. Monthly closure of contracts and stocktake
15. Security, Health & Safety and Compliance management
16. Administration, ad hoc
17. General work
