AUTOMOTIVE QUALITY TECHNICIAN

AUTOMOTIVE QUALITY TECHNICIAN/ EAST LONDON – The successful Candidate MUST have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Manufacturing Quality and Core skills MUST include: FMEA. PPAP. APQP, MSA. Forklift License will be advantageous. Will suit someone close to the IDZ area.  Core Skills certificates to be submitted with CV upon application. 

Requirements:

Grade 12/Matric

2 years’ experience in automotive manufacturing quality 

Must be experienced in Conducting FMEA, Control Plans, 5 why's

Must be experienced in compiling PPAP (production part approval process) documents to ensure parts are made to correct specifications at all times

Must be experienced in Advanced Product Quality Planning to determine appropriate use of existing and new measurement systems during process design and start up.

Must be experienced in MSA (Measurement systems analysis)

Must be experienced working with QMS (ISO9001) and international standard for Automotive quality (IATF16949)

Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Valid Driver’s License and own transport essential

Knowledge and experience in:

Inspection of incoming goods

Verification of COC results

Conduct product/dock audits as per audit schedule

Verify conformity of products running in production (Using checking fixtures and scale)

Co-ordinate calibration of measuring equipment with Quality Technician

Inspect and verify checking fixtures according to inspection plan

Control and oversee rework process

Report any non-conformities identified from incoming inspection and production line

Co-Ordinate MSA studies as and when required

Co-ordinate capability studies as and when required

Salary: Market Related, plus overtime
