JOB DESCRIPTION:

My client, a leading and well-known Company based in Ottowa, Durban requires a competent and suitably experienced Account Administrator to join their team.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

A member of the organisation’s internal sales team, responsible for sales administration and support for Brand Sales Management and Business Development Managers.

To assist with sales related matters by generating/collating product information, pro-active sourcing and exporting of imagery to customer product portfolios, filing of documentation, and updating client information on the company''s operating system.

Experience with CRM applications and knowing the purpose of CRM in sales

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to meet deadlines without compromising consistency in the process

Ability to work under pressure

Ability to prioritize to guarantee that all issues are allocated the required time to be handled in a professional manner

Statutory liabilities: Policies and Procedures, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Labour Relations Act

 

NATURE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB:

 

Business Development Manager/s & Brand Sourcing support

Accurate Library Management and Administration across identified product portfolio

Timeous delivery of all assigned tasks with deadline

Timeous capture of sourcing requests proactively secured by the Business Development Manager

Understanding of systems and procedures

 

REQUIREMENTS:

At least 3-4 years proven work experience as a Sales administrator or Sales support agent

Certification in Marketing, Sales or relevant field is a huge advantage

Proven track record of experience – evidence of multi-tasking, organisation skills and ability to work under pressure.

Computer skills, and thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on superior Excel skills.

Communication and problem-solving skills

Decision and problem-solving skills

Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel)

Understanding of sales performance metrics

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

SA Citizens only

Must be Criminal Clear

Must reside in the Greater Durban area 

 

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

 

Provide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account statuses and relevant problems

Provide data and documentation to help Business Development Managers achieve their sales target

Manage internal deadlines with Business Development Managers to ensure on time delivery

Problem solving and feedback to relevant Business Development Managers

Action, under instruction from relevant Business Development Manager, Library Management tasks

Manage Job Listing Input for Pro-Active Sourcing Requests

Act as a point of contact between sales and production

Action all tasks given in deadline period

Maintain standards and quality of work produced

Attend to incoming phone calls when the Business Development Managers are not available

E-mail all messages and or queries to Business Development Managers

Loading of product line on behalf of the Business Development Managers

Assist with urgent sourcing on paying suppliers when Business Development Managers are on leave, ill or at meetings
