Our client is seeking a skilled Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. As an integral part of the organisation, you'll play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the financial operations.

Duties:

• Gather, analyse, and summarise financial data from various subsidiaries.
• Record financial information submitted by different subsidiaries.
• Execute financial reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Compute taxes and coordinate information exchange between subsidiaries and tax consultants.
• Carry out month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Generate monthly reports, including Balance Sheets and Income Statements.
• Manage intra-group transactions and eliminations.
• Reconcile intercompany loans at the group level.
• Prepare consolidation entries for relevant subsidiaries.
• Analyse financial trends and investigate any identified variances.
• Produce and submit monthly management reports punctually.
• Create periodic reports for management.
• Provide timely and accurate responses to management and stakeholder inquiries.

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Accounting
• BCom Honours

• Completed Articles
• Must be familiar with financial accounting and reporting processes
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Sage Evolution experience will be advantageous
• Attention to detail is very important
