The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing the full accounting process, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and contributing to the organisation's financial success.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Compliance

Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Support internal and external audits and maintain accurate records for audit purposes.

Accounting Process Management

Manage the full accounting process, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, accounts receivable/payable, and month-end journal entries.
Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

Management Accounts & Reporting

Prepare monthly management accounts and MIS reports.
Liaise with clients to reconcile accounts and follow up on payments weekly.

Taxation & Regulatory Requirements

Submit VAT returns and process IRP5s and EMP201s.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

Education: BCom degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience: 5-8 years of hands-on experience in accounting or finance roles.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
