SUMMARY:
Our client is a Dutch company expanding its international presence with the opening of a new office in Cape Town, are seeking a mid-level Accountant to join their team. In this role, you will manage the full scope of accounting administration, ensuring that financial administrations are organized and accurate. POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the complete financial administration for clients based in the Netherlands.
Ensure financial records are prepared and compilation-ready.
Collaborate with the account manager to prepare financial statements.
Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements, utilizing the necessary tools.
Communicate directly with colleagues in the Netherlands regarding client accounting matters.
Process client data efficiently and proactively identify opportunities for process improvements.

Required Experience and Skills:

University degree with minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in an accounting firm.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of IFRS for SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Entities).
Eagerness to understand Dutch accounting rules (similar to IFRS).
Affinity for automation in accounting processes.
Proficiency in Afrikaans is preferred.
Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to learn new systems.
Full-time in office.
