JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements:

  • BCom
  • Pastel  ERP system (Advanced Excel)
  • 5 years’ experience (Knowledge of IFRS, Tax, VAT EMP501)

Performance Areas (Responsibilities):

The accountant’s duties shall include, but not be limited to:

  • Monthly financial accounting and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparation of the cash, bank and accounts payable functions
  • Adherence of Internal Control Standards
  • Annual Audit and Financial statements
  • Administration of fixed asset accounting
  • Month end processing, incoming statement review and Bank/Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Management of petty cash
