SUMMARY:
Red Ember is currently recruiting for an Accountant to be based at a client in Parow Industrial.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Oversee and actively follow through on transactional processing and provide timeous solutions.

Duties:

Examine, analyze, and interpret accounting records.
Assess and prepare control account reconciliations.
Manage the debtor''''s and creditors'''' finance teams.
Solution-driven resolving customer escalations.
Prepare weekly and month-end reporting accurately and timeously.
Assisting in general and payroll-related duties.
Ensure uninterrupted daily workflow and assist with ad-hoc duties as and when required

Skills & Experience:

High-risk decision-making skills
Analytical and advanced excel skills
Fast-paced and high-volume environment
Debtors and creditors experience
Exposure to payroll processing
Detail orientated and hands-on
Sage experience
Sage Business Cloud Accounting: 3 – 5 years (Required)
Debtors/Creditors management: 5 year (Required)

Qualification:

BCom Accounting/Finance Management
Minimum 5 to 10 years experience in construction environment
SAICA / SAIPA articles
Honors (Advantageous)
Bachelors (Required)
