SUMMARY:
The Accountant will support the Financial Manager and prepare, manage, and analyse all accounting data, in order to provide quantitative information on financial performance. It’s not often we get such great opportunities out in the Cape Winelands for Finance Professionals!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Complete and submit VAT and PAYE returns
Monthly reporting preparation
Ensure all finance filing is up to date and accurate
Process creditor invoices / credit notes
Capture & reconciliation of all bank transactions
Follow up suppliers and customers timeously
Maintain accurate records of creditor accounts and reconciliations
Maintain and reconcile Fixed Asset Register
Complete stock production runs
Prepare special financial reports
Load all bank payments
Report on stock variances
Reviewing of Debtors recons performed every month
Reviewing of weekly Producer statement

Skills & Experience:
Manufacturing / Retail industry experience advantageous
Strong Excel skills
Ability to work under pressure
Communicate in a professional manner
High attention to detail
Innovative thinker

Qualification:
BCom Accounting / Financial Management
SAICA / SAIPA articles advantageous
