• Responsible for  Recording Journals, Performing Reconciliation and Producing Reports
• Controls, Governance & Policies
• implementation and maintenance of system of robust controls, procedures and policies
• Support the Finance Shared Services
• Ensure compliance to accounting policies
• Assist the audit team
• Responsible for month end close process
• Responsible for preparing balance sheet reconciliations
• Working with business partners
• preparation of the Income Statements
• Balance Sheet
• Cash Flow
• Analysis of trial balance
• Analysis of income statement accounts
• Analysis of expense accounts for tax submission to SARS
• Preparation of  Annual Financial Statements

Qualifications

BCom in Accounting

Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in a similar role

IFRS and Taxation experience

SAP system experience

Great plains system experience advantage

Hyperion Financial Management

Advanced excel skills

Intercompany accounting experience would be advantageous
