POSITION INFO:

Job Description:
As the Accountant, your duties will include the following:
Oversee and manage the preparation of financial statements
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Conduct meetings and discuss annual financial statements with clients
Process monthly management accounts and provide key insights
Coordinate and execute the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes for management account preparation
Perform bookkeeping tasks, account reconciliations, identify discrepancies and implement corrective action and controls
Process VAT in compliance with the VAT act
Handle payroll processing accurately and efficiently
Additional duties as required by management

Skills & Experience:
Proficiency in performing reconciliations
Understanding of South African tax laws
Strong working knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems

Qualification:
Relevant Finance or Accounting degree
Completed SAIPA articles
Grade 12 (Matric)
