SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with 3 to 5 years of experience in financial management and reporting. This role, based in Centurion, offers a dynamic environment where the successful candidate will engage in management accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis duties, while also traveling to various sites and mines to support business operations.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse management accounts to support decision-making.
- Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process to ensure financial accuracy.
- Compile monthly and quarterly financial statements in line with reporting standards.
- Conduct and oversee stock counts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret financial data.
- Utilise the Sage ERP system for financial reporting, analysis, and reconciliations.
Minimum Requirements:- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in an accounting role.
- Proficiency in Sage ERP is essential.
- Strong knowledge of management accounts, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel to various sites and mines as required.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
