The role involves managing debtor and creditor accounts and maintaining records up to the trial balance stage. Ideal candidate is detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and adaptable, able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment with quick turnaround expectations.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:  

• Debtors Management: Invoicing, account reconciliations, collections, and credit control.
• Creditors Management: Processing invoices, reconciling statements, and managing payment cycles.
• Accounting to Trial Balance: Maintaining and balancing financial records, processing journal entries, and ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
• Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, including monthly and quarterly reconciliations.
• Support to the Development Team: Provide accurate and timely financial information to support project planning and decision-making.

• Minimum of 5 years in a similar accounting role, specifically in debtor and creditor management and maintaining accounts to trial balance.
• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Xero accounting software and Excel.
• Strong ability to maintain accuracy in high-pressure environments.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
