                                   SENIOR ACCOUNTING OFFICER

                                           MPUMALANGA BASED

DUTIES

• Handle the Creditors,  as per Company Policies and procedures
• Cash up Trade Departments and Front office
• Daily balancing of Cash up Office
• Processing reconciliations
• Issuing of fuel to departments
• Handling store room - Month end stock take, balancing and processing journals on accpac
• Completion of registers
• Processing invoices
• Processing accounts payable
• Creditors reconciliations
• Ordering stationary
• Handling ATM
• Report speed point problems
• Administrative work
• Daily recons of deposit bank account
• Assist with month – end stock takes
• Operational duties as per requirements

SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES

• Experience from within a financial position
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to perform under pressure
• Ability to deal with a variety of people in a Customer orientated friendly way
• Able to work on own accord or part of a team
• Organizational and Admin skills and knowledge of MS Word and Excel
• Working on weekends – Must be able to work flexi hours – No clock watcher
• Innovative and creative
• Tactful – when dealing with guests and staff related queries
• Good planning and organizational skills as well as own initiative to solve problems
• Must be a team player and able to work under pressure
• Presentable and Neat at all times

QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidate must have a financial/accounting background
• Candidate must at least have completed matric
• Further education within Accounting or Finances, would be an advantage.
• Candidate must dependable, be willing to work flexible hours and long hours when required
• Seeking a candidate that has the potential to move up in the company, somebody with the drive to succeed.

SALARY R 10 000.00 to 12 000.00 (Includes Medial and Pension) – Accommodation offered
