Accounts & Administration Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client, a prominent NPO based in Centurion, is seeking an experienced Accounts and Administration Manager to lead their finance and administration team.

POSITION INFO:
This position is pivotal for the organisation’s financial health, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and strategic financial planning.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this role oversees a team of 5 and plays a crucial part in supporting the organisation’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and manage financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Prepare financial statements, manage tax compliance, and oversee regulatory filings.
• Conduct financial analysis to inform strategic decision-making and provide advisory support to management.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, including preparing budgets for fundraising and tracking donor tranches.
• Oversee audits, monitor expenses, and manage the organization’s financial planning efforts.
• Engage with donors and sub-grantees, ensure compliance with funding requirements, and support internal capacity building within the team.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a finance and administration team, ensuring efficient reconciliations and robust financial processes.

• Qualifications: Minimum of an Accounting Degree with completed SAICA articles.
• Experience: At least 8-10 years in finance, with 5+ years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience with tax and regulatory compliance, budgeting, financial analysis, auditing, and expense management.
• Familiarity with NPO or NGO operations is advantageous.
