Accounts Assistant

POSITION INFO:

This is a great opportunity if you have a keen interest in Finance with a suitable financial qualification, then this might be your opportunity. This position offers learning and growth opportunities whilst working within a supportive team. This position is based in the city centre of Cape Town and is an office-based position.

Requirements:

• Relevant Financial Qualification
• Minimum of 2 year''s working experience in a finance function.
• Experience in performing creditors, debtors and banking
• Highly organised and a team player

Duties:

• Capturing and Importing and posting bank transactions to the accounting system
• Review Creditors, Balance Sheet and Income Statement
• Bank Account reconciliations
• General Queries
• Posting of some general journals, e.g. payroll journal
• monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
• VAT review and populating template for use with e-filing
• Support finance team with preparation of internal finance reports
• Support finance team with preparation of the annual audits and during the audits
• Fixed Assets
• General duties
