Computer literacy: at least intermediate level (Ms Office, Pastel)

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
Responsible for the full accounting function of allocated companies, including but not limited to:
- Preparing monthly management accounts, including analysis and investigation of variances, and summarising data, information and trends.
- Calculation of depreciation and maintenance of the fixed asset register.
- Managing of monthly provisions and accruals of debtors and creditors.
- Monthly reconciliations of account balances.
- VAT calculations and reconciliations.
- EMP501 reconciliations.
- Statutory returns (VAT, Income Tax) and correspondence with SARS.
- Reviewing creditor’s reconciliations.
Intercompany invoicing (calculation and generating) on Pastel and SAGE.
Any other ad hoc duties pertaining to the accounting function.
Qualification
BCom Accounting degree or Accounting diploma will count in you favour.
