SUMMARY:
Assist Finance Team with junior Accounting duties

POSITION INFO:

Our client, based in Cape Town City Centre, is looking to employ a junior Bookkeeper/Accounts Clerk to assist with general financial administration and duties.

Requirements:

Matric with relevant experience AND/OR qualification
Ability to work Monday to Friday on-site at the office
Eye for detail and numerically very strong
Strong communication skills - both written and verbally
Minimum of 5 years working experience in an Accounts position
Team Player who enjoys responsibility
Proficiency in MS Office - strong EXCEL

Duties:

Debtors / Creditors / Cashbook / Journals
Capturing bank statements for various entities
Reconciliation of petrol / credit cards
Prepare customer invoices
Prepare supplier invoices and prepare reconciliation for month end, cashflow purposes
Assist with VAT registration
Capturing Supplier invoices and reconciliation for month end cashflow
Process credit notes and journals
General financial administration
