As an Accounts Payable Team Leader, you will be responsible for the following:
Query Resolution:

• Resolve all reconciling items between vendor statements and D365 within 21 days to avoid late payments to vendors.
• Allocate processing equally among team members and ensure accurate capturing within the allocated time.
• Escalate queries according to the internal escalation procedure.
• Review the query management portal daily to ensure compliance, address bursar responses, and escalate non-responses as necessary.
• Represent the team in weekly reviews with the AP Manager on outstanding queries.

• Represent the team in weekly reviews with the AP Manager on the GRIR Report for items over 90 days.
• Review age analysis weekly to ensure items are not aging and that remittance and clearing have been processed.
• Follow up on debit balances with the AP Manager.

• Review age analysis weekly in preparation for payments and at the end of each week to confirm remittance advices have been successfully run.
• Ensure vendors are paid according to agreed payment terms in D365.
• Extract and check payment proposals before submitting them to the AP Manager and the second signatory for approval.
• Save payment packs in the prescribed location for review and action.

• Comply with audit and year-end requirements by providing necessary supporting documentation, commentary, reports, and prescribed checks and balances.
• Perform close-off checks for yourself and the team.

• Represent the team in all reviews with the AP Manager.
• Conduct team monthly one-on-ones, manage performance (including IR), handle performance development, and participate in recruitment aspects.
