Admin Assistant

SUMMARY:
Our client, a Proudly South African Legal firm, based in Pietermaritzburg, seeks your administration skills to execute a variety of Admin Assistant duties. These tasks will include working with Attorneys, clients, Paralegals, and other members of the firm with a series of administrative functions.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Job Requirements:

• Matric essential.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience as an Administrator within a Law firm.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of CMS.
• Knowledge of FICA.

• Work with a diary system.
• Knowledge of CMS.
• Work with a file labelling system.
• Deal with accounting folders (draw fee memorandums, send e-mails off to clients & filing of invoices with covering emails).
• File invoices/pre-bills and e-mails to include the invoices.
• Stock take and ordering of stationery.
• Diarising & closing files.
• Take calls, prepare detailed messages, follow up with the Sheriffs & confirm service jurisdiction.
• Collate, distribute e-mails, draw files.
• General drafting, e-mails, letters, pleadings and notices and copying and collating.

• Detail-oriented.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
• Promote collaboration across functional and geographical boundaries.
