SUMMARY:
Signa Opportunity is recruiting unemployed youth for quality workplace experience through the Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative.
About the YES Initiative
The initiative was launched by the President in 2018 and is a partnership with the government and labour department to collectively devise a national plan to build economic pathways for South Africa’s youth by creating workplace opportunities for South African youth over a period of 12 months.

1 Perform functional tasks
●   Performing stock count
●   Compiling Excel reports
●   Running SAP reports and completing action items
●   Sending out emails to Vendors/End Users
●   Assisting with store person duties (issuing and receiving stock)
●   Engineering Store and Satellite Store WPO
●   Critical item checks
●   Vendor queries and part number queries
●   New stock-to-bin allocations
●   End User delivery communications
 
2 Manage self to improve personal effectiveness
●   Exhibit a professional manner and appearance.
●   Ensure behavior which leads to effective performance is identified and developed.
●   Develop understanding of own contribution to business efficiency.
●   Clarify own job requirements and performance standards with Business Manager.
●   Identify and communicate training and development needs.
●  Identify additional responsibilities which could be undertaken as a result of new knowledge and skills after training and development courses.
●  Exhibit the ability to operate well under pressure and with minimal supervision

POSITION INFO:
●   Grade 12
●   Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Logistics
●   Previous admin or work experience would be an advantage
●   Excellent communication skills 
●  Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, etc.)
●  Excellent time management skills
●  Good administrative skills with special attention to detail
● SAP experience advantageous
●  The applicant must be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
●  Aged between 18 and 34. 
●  Must be Unemployed. 
● Must be medically fit.
● Must not have taken part on the YES Programme before.
