JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are recruiting for an assertive, organised and pro-active Administrative Clerk with previous / current experience of tender processes.  Candidates who meet the below minimum requirements, are invited to submit their application via the link provided, or email your CV to

** Very important:  our client is 10 km outside Bloemfontein (southern suburbs).

Minimum requirements:

  • Matric
  • Tertiary qualification will be an advantage
  • Well versed in English (written and spoken)
  • Strong administrative experience
  • Previous / current experience in tender processes
  • IT savvy
  • Diary management experience is very important
  • Assertive
  • Must be someone who adhere to compliance / policies and procedures
  • Excellent planning and organising skills
  • Pro-active
  • Computer literate
  • Knowledge of CIPC will be an advantage

Duties will include:

  • Preparation of tender documents
  • Attend to Requests for Quotations
  • Reception
  • Administrative duties
  • Updating information and databases
  • Electronic submission of tenders, etc
  • Manage filing system
  • Diary management
  • Manage stationery, groceries and petty cash
  • Work close with labour consultants when it comes to leave, labour etc
  • Invoices and statements
  • Any other reasonable duties as requested by Director
