AESTHETICIAN - confident performing LASER
ROODEPOORT - JHB, Gauteng (South Africa)
START: 01 April 2025
TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:
- Monday - Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm
- Saturday 09:00am - 14:00pm
- CLOSED Sundays
- 5.5 shifts per week + 1.5 off days per week
REPORTS TO: Owner
EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Full time / Permanent
SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:
- R8,000 - R12,000 Basic Salary per month (negotiable based on desired skills & experience)
- 10% Service Commission (targeted)
- 10% Retail Commission (no targets)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP / CIBTAC / City & Guilds / BABTAC or internationally recognized accreditation
- DIPLOMA Health & Skin Care / Beauty Therapy / Somatology / Cosmetology (2-year Diploma)
- BONUS - Dermal Aesthetics (not minimum requirement but nice to have!)
- LASER (HR & SJ)
- Beautifully groomed, manicured and looking the part of a Skin Care & Aesthetic professional
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 2+ Years experience as a Skin Care Therapist (post-grad)
- high-end salon or aesthetic therapy experience
- Experience working with active ingredients and Diode LASER
- Able to perform standard beauty & skin care services when operationally required (Waxing, Mani, Pedi & Massage)
SKILLS DESIRED:
- LASER Hair Removal
- LASER Skin Rejuvenation
- Skin Pen / Nano-needling / Derma Pen / Micro-needling
- Chemical Peels
- BONUS Skills: Dermaplaning / Lash Lift / Lash Curl / Lash Extensions / Brow Lamination
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
- Confident performing a detailed skin analysis
- Confidently perform advance skin care treatments, peels and resurfacing treatments & Skin penetrating treatments
- Ability to effectively prescribe relevant home care to clients accordingly
- Confidently re-book clients to build rapport and maintain clientele
- Strong team dynamic, but able to work on your own without supervision
- Driven and motivated to upskill by staying up to date with trends and products
