Agile Business Analyst(s) needed for a fast-growing technology consultancy in Newcastle, who have their hand in just about any industry you might be interested in!
Their clients are spread across gaming, AI, life sciences, renewables, healthcare, financial services, government and more, and they are in the process of developing their own internal project.
With business booming, the company need to add to their headcount, which involves hiring several Agile focused Business Analysts of varying skillsets/seniority levels. There is plenty for you to get involved in - ongoing projects and greenfield projects.
As a Business Analyst you will have strong skills and knowledge working on projects from conception to completion working with a variety of technical and non-technical folk to do everything from collecting requirements to validating the final solution. You will likely focus on some of the company's financial focused projects so knowledge of finance systems and application architecture is necessary.
You'll have most of the following skills/experience:
**Finance data migration
**Working with finance stakeholders
**Capturing and documenting requirements and creating users stories from this
**Agile and Waterfall environments
**Knowledge of BI tools like PowerBI and Tableau
Personality-wise you'll be confident in vocalising your opinions, whether that's about what you want your career to look like or if a particular tool/tech would work best on a new project.
This role offers remote working (you will need to be based in the North East of England or Scotland) and will expect you in the city centre Newcastle office once a month. They love to use these dates to socialise and hold events as a company - so culture is built through both online and face-to-face gatherings (and trips away!). If you need to travel in for these, and potentially stay over, this will be paid for by the company.
The salary on offer can be up to £55,000 depending on experience and comes with a generous benefits package. This includes the usual (25 holidays plus bank holidays, pension scheme etc.) but also includes a discretionary bonus, healthcare, strong development opportunities and social events (with expenses to and from paid for).
