SUMMARY:
DBN000014 - Agronomist - Malawi

Purpose of the Job:
To help manage a 20 ha research farm and innovation centre in Malawi & to design and implement applied agricultural research activities.

 
Required Qualifications

1. BSc Degree
2. At least 10 years experience in a recognised Research or commercial operation.
3. Understand how to set up statistically significant trials and report on these in a professional manner
4. Company vehicle and housing provided

POSITION INFO:
Technical Competencies & Experience:

1. Research activities such as testing and introducing new varieties of row crops etc
2. Liaise with research institutions
3. Compiling and updating Monthly reports
4. Compiling and updating Trial reports
5. Compiling and updating Monthly Management Accounts              
6. Compiling and updating Monthly reports
7. Compiling and updating Trial reports
8. Monthly Management Accounts
