SUMMARY:
Our client situated in Potchefstroom requires the services of a Analytical Chemist to join their dynamic team on a contract basis.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Performance Areas:
  • The analytical chemist receives, prepare and analyse explosives, raw materials, and water samples according to to set standards and methods
  • Ensures that all routine work is executed with high expertise and high-quality results are generated
  • Support product development and other departments with analytical tests when required for non-routine work
  • Writing of test reports
  • Ensure all laboratories comply with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 17025 and OHSA
Qualification And Experience:
  • National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry (completed)
  • Explosives experience, ideal
  • 2 years minimum working at an analytical laboratory
