Job Duties

• Design and oversee the construction of luxury hotels and lodges
• Ensure projects adhere to budget and timeline constraints
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Incorporate sustainable and eco-friendly practises into architectural designs
• Provide expertise in hospitality architecture and luxury hotel design

Required Qualifications

• BArch degree in Architecture

Experience

• Experience in architecture, specifically in the hospitality sector
• Proven track record in luxury hotel or lodge design
• Strong project management skills

Knowledge and Skills

• Proficiency in architecture and design principles
• Understanding of financial acumen and budgeting
• Knowledge of luxury hotel standards and trends
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to problem solve and work within a pressured environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications in project management or sustainability
• Experience working on conservation-focused projects

Working Conditions

The role will involve working on-site at various locations within the Western Cape region. Travel may be required to visit project sites and meet with stakeholders. The architect will work closely with a team of professionals to deliver exceptional design solutions in line with the company's commitment to luxury, sustainability, and wildlife preservation.
