Artisan Assistant – Gouda, Cape Winelands - R27 per hour
The purpose of this role will be mechanical maintenance of all machines used in the production process as well as servicing all machines regular.
Requirements:
NQF Level 4
Certificate in Fitting & Turning or similar
Mechanical Work (Motors, Pumps & Conveyer Problems)
2 + Years’ experience
Responsibilities:
High operating efficiency. (99 % machine availability).
Perform preventative maintenance according to your daily schedule.
Check equipment and operating systems and correct wherever necessary.
Resolve motor, pump and conveyer problems.
Lubricates machines in accordance with established procedures and charts after every shift.
Checks and fills machines with oil.
Maintains records of work performed by completing job cards.
Responds to routine and emergency calls for repairs and service.
Responsible for good time management as well as the completion of the job card in the set time limit.
May measure machine parts on arrival to ensure compliance with design as well as product specifications.
Ensures a culture of continues improvement in your working area by fully implementing at least one new improvement monthly.
