SUMMARY:
Work for a leading FMCG company to maintain the overall effectiveness of equipment and plant on site. They are looking for someone with the right attitude and drive. You will earn a great remuneration package with benefits and bonusses.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Technical research
PLC Fault-Finding
Technical Support and Trouble Shooting on machinery
Plant and System Upgrades
System Maintenance
Audits (Safety and stock control)
Attend to breakdowns within the plant

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5-7 years in relevant trade as Electrician
PLC Knowledge is highly advantageous
5-7 years in FMCG Wheat Milling
Ability to function in a team
Good communication skills
Ability to work under pressure
Be self-motivated
Equipment knowledge
Accuracy / Attention to detail
Numerical ability
Innovation/ continuous improvement

Qualification:
Matric
Relevant Trade qualification as an Electrician)
Registered Artisan (Dept. of Labor) (Red Seal)
Working in a factory environment – hot, noisy and flour dust
5-day position
Required to work overtime and unusual working hours (standby, after hours, weekends and public holidays)

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
