SUMMARY:
To ensure the management of Medical Aid Schemes and Insurance Claims Management Process. To manage clients expectation and deliverables. To have a resource to provide technical assistance to staff in order to initiate billing to all appropriate clients.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

  • To ensure the management of Medical Aid Schemes and Insurance Claims Management Process.
  • To manage clients expectation and deliverables.
  • To have a resource to provide technical assistance to staff in order to initiate billing to all appropriate clients.
  • To be up to date on regulations and implements changes regarding claims and billing requirements.
  • To assess claims according to CPG guidelines.

Qualifications/attributes/ competencies and experience

  • Matric (Essential)
  • Medical Qualification- Advance Life Support (Essential)
  • FAIS compliant (Essential)
  • 3 years’ experience in managing a team
  • Experience in the insurance sector will be beneficial
  • Regulatory Exam will be advantageous
  • Medical Aid Schemes Experience, leadership experience (Advantage)
  • Proven competence in the relevant field of compliance, quality assessments / assurance
