SUMMARY:
Are you passionate about finance and administration, with a knack for precision and problem-solving in a production environment? NDC Personnel & Contractors is seeking a skilled Assistant Accountant to ensure accurate day-to-day accounting operations and contribute to vital financial information essential for decision-making for an agri-business in the Free State.

POSITION INFO:
In this role, you'll reconcile monthly stock counts, plan and supervise month-end procedures, manage daily and monthly stock reconciliations, and assist with stock and production maintenance. Your expertise will also help manage admin personnel, ensuring tasks like invoicing, journals, and approvals are handled efficiently and on time. Additionally, you'll support fixed asset management and adhere to company credit policies.
 
We’re looking for someone with a relevant Accounting Degree (completed articles would be advantageous), at least two years of proven experience in a production setting, and ideally, exposure to the animal feed mill industry.
 
Success in this role demands an ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong problem-solving capabilities, excellent communication, and the resilience to thrive under pressure and extended hours when needed.
