SUMMARY:
Our client, a growing private school group with a good reputation has an opportunity available for an Assistant Brand Accountant to join their team on a 6 month contract.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualification required:
  • Bcom / Btech / Accounting Diploma
 Skills and experience required: 
  • Previous experience in the education industry would be advantageous
  • Experience on SAGE would be advantageous
  • Basic knowledge of South African Tax Legislation
  • Ability to work in a highly pressurised environment
Job description:
  • Report to Finance Manager
  • Assist with preparation if budgets and forecasts
  • Assist with tracking of actuals vs budgets
  • Assist with tracking of brand financial performance
  • Reconcile GL monthly and annually
  • Assist with cashflow information
  • Assist with audits
  • Assist with tax
  • Prepare information for statutory return
  • Respond to financial queries from parents and other stakeholders
