Key Responsibilities:

• Delight guests with trendsetting, innovative products and outstanding service experiences.
• Maintain strict control of petty cash and float.
• Set and uphold front office service standards.
• Conduct regular guest service and standards training, equipping staff to deliver exceptional experiences.
• Lead teams with a focus on teamwork, personal accountability, engagement, and retention.
• Manage staff processes, including recruitment, performance, conduct, and personal presentation.

Requirements:

• Hospitality qualification from a recognized South African or International institution.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including night shifts and duty management shifts.
• Driver’s license.
• Proficient in technology tools, including Micros, Opera/Speed Point Machine, and MS 365.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within a busy, upmarket hotel.
• Proven track record in leading and managing large teams.

• Neat and professional presentation.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of food, beverages, cocktails, wines, and spirits.
• In-depth product knowledge of hotels, competitors, and the city.
• Strong leadership, financial management, and selling skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
