Assistant General Manager required for a renowned restaurant based in East London 

Requirements:

• Proven experience in restaurant or café management (hotel experience not applicable)
• Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to effectively handle customer inquiries and complaints
• Proficient in inventory management
• Knowledge of health and safety standards
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Flexible schedule to work shifts, including days, nights, Sundays, and public holidays

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth workflow
• Supervise and manage staff, monitoring and evaluating performance
• Maintain high standards of health and safety in the workplace
• Oversee inventory management and control
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints effectively
• Foster a positive work environment and encourage team collaboration
