REQUIREMENTS

• South African citizen, currently residing in Kariega or immediate surrounds 
• National Diploma/ Degree: Auditing or Accounting
• Completed articles in Internal/ External Audit
• One year post-articles experience handling internal audit for a private company
• Valid, unendorsed driver's license, and own transport

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct internal audits from planning to finalization, within the required timeframe
• Identify and report on weaknesses in the company’s internal control environment
• Make recommendations for the improvement of any control weaknesses
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations
• Conduct follow-up audits and ad hoc investigations
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
• Compile weekly audit reports based on audit findings
• Participate in the preparation of Finance Review Committee reports and packs, as directed
• Participate in the preparation of the annual internal audit plan
