SUMMARY:
Our client in the mining industry, has an EE opportunity available for an Assistant Manager Engineer - Projects to be based in the Lephalala, Limpopo area. This will be a contract position for 7 months.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

B Tech Electrical Engineering ( Essential/Minimum or )
B Tech Mechanical Engineering ( Essential/Minimum or )
BEng Electrical Engineering ( Essential/Minimum or )
BEng Mechanical Engineering ( Essential/Minimum )
Gov Cert of Competence: Engineering (Essential/Minimum)
Management Development Programme (Essential/Minimum)
8 years relevant plant, production, operational and maintenance experience; with Project Management, Design and development experience
Engineering Council of SA (PrEng) registration

KPAs:

Coordinate commissioning, quality assurance processes as well as performance criteria testing
Conduct complex analysis of project systems and processes
Provide inputs in designs, technical reviews, Hazard and Operability
Study (HAZOPS) and other project related reviews
Evaluate and complete projects with minimum risk, within allocated timeframes and according to specified budgetary requirements
Manage capital projects with regard to processes, technology and equipment.
