Assistant Restaurant Manager (ARM)

SUMMARY:
Assistant Restaurant Manager (Lusaka and other centres along the Copperbelt)

POSITION INFO:

Leading fast-food franchise is expanding their operations. Seeking skilled Assistant Restaurant Managers to oversee all staff, budgets, and operations of the business.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage daily restaurant operations
• Supervise staff and provide training
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations (food safety and hygiene)
• Control operational costs and maximise profitability
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales

Competencies, Skills and Other Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of previous experience managing a diverse workforce, in the fast-food restaurant/ hotel industry
• Must be a Zambian national with a clear criminal history
• A valid driver's license is advantageous
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching and people management.  Basic HR/ disciplinary / grievance process)
• Strong figure acumen and proficiency in Excel (working in a digitised environment)
• Entrepreneurial flair and the ability to understand the customer focus
• Strong communication skills, at all levels
• Tertiary qualification/diploma, degree preferred
• Shortlisted candidates may be required to take and pass an online assessment
