POSITION INFO:
Our client based in the Piet Retief area is seeking an Assistant Stores Controller to join their team. An overview of the role is as follows; to receive, distribute and account for goods and materials effectively and efficiently in compliance with the company’s policies, procedures and codes of conduct.
Minimum requirements:
- Grade 12
- At least 18 months’ experience in stores control
- Computer literate in Microsoft 365 suite
- Ability to communicate in English competently
- Experience on working with Syspro would be advantageous
- Clear criminal record
- Unendorsed Code 08/B driver’s license would be advantageous
Key Functions Include:
- Assisting stores controller in maintaining stock according to required level
- Updating Syspro accurately according to receiving of stock and non-stock
- Undertake store administration
- Ensure compliance with the stores and safety procedures
- Comply with the requirements of ISO and Quality Management Systems
